Basra University organizes an online workshop on how to create an electronic classroom using the Google classroom platform,.

The Center for Development and Continuing Education at Basra University organized an electronic workshop on how to create an electronic classroom using the Google classroom platform, give lectures using Google Meet and record student attendance by adding the (Meet Attendance) tool      and by using (google form), attendees are accounting automatically to create a pivot table

 The goal of the workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Nidaa Muhammad Baqir Al-Yasiri, Director of the Center for Development and Continuing Education

To train instructors  on how to create and manage an electronic classroom, use simultaneous and direct education through electronic platforms and facilitate the process of registering students' attendance

The workshop included steps to create a classroom and link the Google meet with the classroom so that the meeting coincides with the students, as well as training to record a video lecture, and how to send the google meet link to the students for the purpose of the meeting and recording the meeting. Attendance is done by form. The new thing that has been added from the teaching experience is  by using  of a pivotable to automatically counting the  attendance at the end of the semester or year or at the specified time   by the instructor, as well as how to use a fixed link to attend throughout the academic year.

In the end, the workshop recommended that all instructors should continue to attend workshops and electronic courses in this field that are organized by Basra University through its centers or organized by Iraqi and Arab universities and follow up on the Internet
