The Development and Continuing Education Center at Basra University organized a course on industrial and     work safety

The goal of the role provided by Dr. Imad Abdul-Khazem Khayoun is to train technicians and engineers on safety methods from the dangers and accidents that accompany industrial and professional operations.

The course included safety principles

Safety terms, causes of accidents, risks of industrial pollution, fire and injuries,

And safety in the workplace,

And the role of safety teams in fighting fire, and the role of the safety team in fighting pollution, and risks

Electricity, safety systems, safety regulatory aspect, safety planning and safety oversight

The session recommended following safety systems in state institutions

 and all its departments
