Today, the Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized an (online attendance) workshop on (Events that shook the world - Covid 19) in both Arabic and English.

‎‏ The workshop aimed to review the most important events that shook the world, focusing on the year (2020) and the events of Covid 19, being one of the most important events that shook Arab and international public opinion in the last year, Which led to the death about two million people and turned people's habits upside down, in addition to its continued existence, effects and danger, so far - this virus, which spread at the late year 19, while the world knew the effect of the disaster at the beginning of (2020)

‎‏ The workshop was presented by Dr. Ali Abdel-Hamid reviewed the Corona epidemic, the difference in the interpretation of its causes, types, beginnings, how to prevent it, differences between China and the United States in this regard, and the types of vaccines that were proposed and whose effectiveness has been proven.

‎‏ At the end  of the workshop, it had been recommended that employees continue to attend such workshops for attaining wide range of  comprehensiveness of such events , and it also recommended that necessary preventive measures should be taken for granted for the time being
