The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized an online workshop on the theory of multiple intelligences and the modern teaching strategies.
The aim of the workshop ,which was presented by Dr. Saad Ali Zayer, is to enlighten the participants about the theory of multiple intelligences, to distinguish between the types of intelligence and their various activities, and introduce them to the most important strategies that emerged from each type of intelligence.
The workshop included a definition of the theory of multiple intelligences, its origins, foundations, and an explanation of the various types of intelligence, including linguistic intelligence (verbal): strategies, activities and logical (mathematical) intelligence, strategies, activities, spatial-visual intelligence, strategies, activities, motor intelligence (physical), and strategies. Activities and musical intelligence (rhythmic), strategies and activities, social intelligence (personal), strategies, activities, and personal intelligence (personal - contemplative - within the personal - internal), strategies and activities, natural (environmental) intelligence, strategies, activities, and applied aspects of each Strategy from the abovementioned
At the end of the workshop, the workshop recommended the use of these strategies in classroom education in the future because of their importance in developing the teaching process and keeping it updated
