The Continuing Education and development Center organized a workshop  about  the essence of teaching, the philosophy of university education, and the characteristics of teaching staff based on global developments and educational variables and in light of the course which was prepared by the center to qualify new staff members in Iraqi universities

‏ The workshop aimed at introducing the essence of teaching and whether it is an art, science, art, both,or profession of the professionless person. It alson touches

 upon the features that distinguish a university professor in light of global developments and educational variables, and to enhance the culture of professional development of staff

‏members.

‏ The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Nidaa Muhammad Baqir Al-Yasiri, an online included a presentation of the training program for the qualification of those who want to the teaching profession and clarification of the meaning of the philosophy of university education and how to employ philosophy in education and the relationship between them. It also included what teaching is and all opinions about the meaning of teaching if it is the art or whether it is science or art  And knowledge or profession of those who do not have a profession with clarification of the correct vision to achieve educational goals, as it included the most important characteristics and capacities of teaching staff members, and the detection of change

‏ His roles in light of global developments and educational changes and what resulted from them and what should result from alternatives in education.

‏ The necessity of acquaintance with the essential basic skills on which the teaching process is based has been recommended by all those who want the profession of teaching
