The continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized a workshop about statistics: From theoretical foundations to practical applications and  analysis of data using SPSS

‎‏ The workshop aims to acquaint the participants with the basics of statistics, its role in scientific research, statistical sources of data, and how to analyze it using the SPSS statistical package.

‎‏ The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Amer Abd Al-Nabi Al-Abadi, included:calculating measures of central tendency for one sample, and for more than one sample, measures of dispersion for one sample and more than one sample, and how to extract descriptive statistics with charts: (histogram, graphical columns, pie chart, and normal distribution curve.)
