The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra  organized an online workshop about change management

The workshop aims to shed light on one of the important and fundamental issues in contemporary management, which is the administrative change, and to explain the major and influential role that it plays in the growth and improvement of the performance of organizations of all kinds.  To keep abreast of developments in different business environments.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Abbas Abdel-Hamid Abdel-Abbas, the most prominent of which was the concept of administrative change and its importance in organizations of all kinds, discrimination in organizational and administrative terms, the difference between change and alteration, and a detailed answer to the following question: What is the administrative change in organizations seeking  Clarifying the most important sources of administrative change and its fields in organizations, and answering in detail with examples of the following question: How do I start the process of change?  And clarification of what is meant by resisting administrative change?  With an explanation of the most important causes of resistance to change in organizations, and a focus on the positive role of administrative leadership in the success of the process of administrative change, and presenting vivid and realistic examples that are at the heart of the topic of effective and efficient change that we seek to achieve.                                  At the end workshops, the recommendation was to invest what was dealt with and focus on concepts, topics, and realistic examples to apply them to the practical reality of managers and Staff at their various organizational
