The continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra

 organized an online workshop on blended education

 The aim of the workshop, which is part of the teaching staff development course, is to give the participants an idea about the concept of blended education.

  The workshop which was presented by Dr. Rifaat Abdullah Jassim included

 Defining blended learning, its essence, advantages

, disadvantages, strategies and types.

 At the end of the workshop, the presenter recommended holding more courses that deal with an online education as the teaching staff lack the experience in this field.
