The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized an online course about the Discipline Law for State Staff and the Public Sector.

The course aims to acquaint the participant with the State Staff Discipline Law, of State and Public Sector employees, and in particular the positive and negative duties of the employee, and the penalties prescribed for disciplinary violations and administrative investigation.The workshop  presented by the lecturer, I'tidal Abdel-Baqi Yusef, included the most important provisions and principles contained in the law, which are:

‏ Definitions, scope, duties, penalties, investigation of the administrative complaint, employee guarantees, length of appeal and methods, abolition of punishment, and withdrawal of the hand.

‏ At the end of the course,  the recommendation was to diversify and expand the topics that are presented to employees that have relevance to their professional experience
