The Continuing Education and Development

 Center at the University of Basra organized an online workshop on how to set up an online class using the Google classroom platform within The Development and Rehabilitation Project.

 The aim of the workshop, which is part of the teaching methods course for faculty members, is to train teachers on how to set up and manage the electronic classroom, and to use simultaneous and direct education via electronic platforms.

 The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Hisham Latif Sawadi, included training on recording a video lecture, creating an electronic class, sending the class link to students for the purpose of joining, creating a fixed dead Google meeting link for lectures throughout the year, organizing the attendance form, and training on how to take students’ attendance.

At the end, the workshop presenter recommended to all professors, to ask for the assistance of the technical teams in the faculties, and the specialists in the field of e-learning at the University of Basra
